Hi! I am Teacher Maren and I am happy to be a part of EIGORU!
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications.
I worked as a freelance English tutor for two years wherein I taught Japanese citizens as well as other students from different nationalities.
I am proficient in oral and written English and am able to teach basic, intermediate and advanced levels.
I have an N5 JLPT certificate so I am familiar with basic Japanese grammar, Hiragana and Katakana.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching English TV series and films as well as Jdramas.

To my future students, learning to speak and write in English is a skill that will serve you well today and in the future.
Yet, it is not so important whether you are a beginner or you already have a working knowledge in English.
Learning is a continuous and life-long process, anyway.
The one thing that matters is that you have taken that first step in reaching your goal.
As a teacher, I have my goals, too, foremost of which is to share my knowledge with you in a setting that is tailored-fit to your pace, preference and aptitude.
English need not be overwhelmingly difficult to learn.
Believe in yourself as your teacher already does.
