If you signed up for trial lessons to more than 1 teacher, please, inform each teacher you’ve done trial lessons with that you still have many trial lessons and you need enough time to decide whose to continue lesson with.

❋ Example Email to your teacher,
If you want the teacher to wait for your decision

Hello Teacher Judy!

Please give me a few days to decide if I will have continue lessons from you or not because I still have pending trial lessons with other teachers. Thank you.

Student,
Tomi

Please read the “⇒ Continuing Lessons Procedures” for the following steps (steps for ongoing lessons).

Note:
Email Confirmation about Continue L
esson or Not, “the above-mentioned (5) (6)” can be ignored if you already talked to your chosen teacher about it during the trial class. There’s no need to contact our staff.

The Lesson Sheet is about all Lesson Records and will be sent by the teacher to the student.

Other Important Considerations

Note:
Do not use Skype Chat/Message for discussing important matters with the teacher such as change of schedule, etc.

Please use email all the time and not Skype when talking about important information and other matters.

Skype Chat or Messaging is a mechanism that both messages are sent and received only when both sender and receiver happen to come online. Also, if you sent a Skype message but the receiver was offline, it won’t be received or read until you both go online. Same as when the teacher sent a message to you while you were offline. And you go online but the teacher’s Skype is off already, then you won’t be able to see the teacher’s message. This is where misunderstanding often happens.

In addition, even if the teacher is online or even during the class, sometimes teacher doesn’t check Skype messages as same as above and it’s very different when you use email and LINE lessons, so please don’t make any promise of schedule with the teacher through Skype or don’t chat about any other important things over Skype. Please “use Email” when there’s something important to say, ask or request to your teacher.

Note:
If the lesson is suddenly canceled…

Internet in the Philippines is almost wireless (Wi-Fi). There are times also that the internet is unstable before the lesson starts and you received and read the teacher’s message about it, although the teacher’s Skype status is online. Rain and time zone in the Philippines and a sudden power-down cause the Internet unstable or cut suddenly. You can see your teacher’s Internet connection  through Skype Status, displayed in colors such as red, yellow and green. If the colors are red or yellow then Skype call is not possible. For this reason, we cannot easily determined when can teacher contact you because of unstable internet connection and there are times that the teacher can contact you late.

In addition, if the teacher frequently cancels the lesson or sudden change schedule and we received 3 complaints from the students then the teacher will be charged with big penalty, cancel the contract as well as freezing of salary. So we hope that you will discern this kind of negligent teachers who often cancel lessons.
